We shouldn't be offended when Lee Da Hae (Jasmine of Korean series My Girl) mimicked the way our Filipino teachers in Korea speak English. In the first place, we don't own that accent! She must be referring to other Asian countries, not Philippines. We're good in English and I'm confident to that. Let us understand Lee Da Hae for her lack of knowledge. Maybe, she hasn't actually heard us talk in English.
To Miss Da Hae and to the rest of the world, this is the way Filipino teachers in Korea speak English. Come on, ignorance could really be annoying.
So what can you say? Is she even close copying our beloved Filipino teachers? Yeah I know, too unlikely.
